Chris has a passion for family, civil and criminal law. He has been fortunate enough to act in a diverse range of matters, and through practice in the private and community sector he has proven himself able to communicate with people from all walks of like. He is inspired by getting good results for his clients, particularly when the client, through no fault of their own, has set out in circumstances of disadvantage. From career experience, he has had exposure to delicate matters and has developed soft skills for clients who have sensitive or confronting issues.

Previously, Chris worked in areas, where he provided family law services, acting in property settlement, divorce, parenting and child support matters.

Chris also worked as a lawyer at the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre in Perth, Chris provided legal services to low income members of the community, covering a broad range of areas of law, including family law civil law, restraining orders, residential tenancy, minor criminal and elder rights matters. Periodically he acted as the duty lawyer for restraining order respondents at the Joondalup Magistrates Court.

Chris was admitted to practice law in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in October 2015.

Chris acquired a Juris Doctor in law from Murdoch University in 2013. Whilst there, his legal theory paper was published in the Western Australian Jurist and he participated in the McCusker Trial Advocacy Competition. He served for twelve weeks at the Southern Communities Advocacy Legal and Education Service.

Prior to his legal career, Chris worked in the IT industry, providing web design and support services. He has been a keen participant in the cultural life of Western Australia, as a music, arts and culture journalist for Street Press Australia since 2010 and as a writer and producer of short films. He served as a member of the Board of the Film and Television Institute WA (since consolidated with Screenwest) from 2009 to 2010.
